I hope most of you have heard about the CPSIA that goes into effect on Feb 10th. Basically it makes selling children's products illegal, unless you are willing to have them tested for lead. This includes everything from books, to clothes, to toys, to decor, accessories, everything. So those cute hair bows or flowers you like to buy for your daughter? Nope, those will be illegal. The testing is so expensive that I don't think any small business will be able to afford it.
At change.org you can sign up and vote to have this issue placed in front of President Elect Obama. The top 10 issues will be presented to him, and currently, this issue is number 6. Please go vote to Save Small Business From CPSIA. Today is the last day!
